Modders solder power cables directly to RTX 5090 PCB to eliminate notorious melting 16-pin connector — bare-board Galax HOF card pulls 600W

TecLab, a Brazilian YouTuber, has just shown the most dangerous method of bypassing the 16-pin connector on an RTX 5090 — by soldering wires directly to the card's PCB. In an attempt to save the GPU from melting, they've created perhaps an even bigger fire hazard.
