How to Solve Onimusha: Way of the Sword Mask Puzzle

Like any Capcom title, Onimusha: Way of the Sword has multiple puzzles throughout Miyamoto Musashi's journey to stop the Malice from spreading across Kyoto. While fairly straightforward, the Mask puzzle is one of the more confusing puzzles in Chapter 11, “What Lurks in the Shadows,” where Musashi explores Nijo-jo Castle in search of Okuni’s friend, Hinagiku.
